Salary:

Do you fancy spending the winter in the French Alps, skiing or boarding in some of the best ski resorts? Are you an experienced cook or chef? If so this could be the job for you......

Ski Famille is an independently owned specialist in family ski holidays in the French Alps, and we enjoy high levels of return guests and staff.

We recruit couples as well as indivduals for the chalet positions.

Our chefs and hosts look after our guests in chalets which sleep from 8 to 21 guests. In our larger chalets, you will be working with one or more chalet assistants. It will be your responsibility to manage the kitchen and ensure that all meals are cooked and presented to a consistently high standard.

Working with a pre-set menu plan you will be providing breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course meal, plus a separate children’s tea earlier in the evening 6 days a week.

The Person

We don’t insist on formal qualifications but many of our chefs and hosts will have been professionally trained.  If you are not qualified, you will be able to demonstrate cooking experience in a commercial environment and a real passion for food. You will need to be organised, well presented and enjoy interacting with the guests as much as cooking.

We provide comprehensive training in resort in December.
