Ted Bentley stands for luxury. For the coming season we need to find dedicated Chalet Couples to work in our luxury chalets in Courchevel Le Praz, France, and in Nendaz, Switzerland. Courchevel is charming old Alpine village, with enviable access to the Three Valleys and its 600km of pistes, while Nendaz is located pover the mountain from Verbier, in Switzerland's vast Four Valleys region.

The Chalet Manager/Driver is a pivotal role within Ted Bentley's operation. You will need to be conscientious, friendly and enthusiastic, and able to manage your own time efficiently. Your primary responsibility will be the wellbeing and comfort of the guests in your chalet. You will help with serving meals, assisting in the kitchen, and generally being a scintillating host.

You will also be chiefly responsible for keeping the chalet looking immaculate - cleaning the chalet each day (make all beds, clean all bathrooms, empty all bins etc.) and organising laundry weekly.

Other tasks are likely to include helping with the chalet shopping trip once a week down in the valley, driving guests to and from the main lift station, and perhaps collecting children from ski school during the day. You will also be required to collect guests from the train station or airport on change-over days, and accompany them to obtain their hire equipment.

The Chalet Chef is also a critical role in our operation. You should be professionally qualified, with an outgoing and helpful manner, and with at least two years experience as a chef. You will also be responsible for the chalet's budgeting and shopping for ingredients, and will help the Chalet Manager with cleaning the chalet, and (probably) driving our guests to and from the ski lockers and lift station.

A UK Passport and a full, clean UK driving license is required by both candidates. Previous experience of driving a minibus would be a distinct advantage and experience of driving in winter conditions would be useful.

We are offering the right Chalet Couple a generous remuneration package that will include comfortable accommodation in the resort, free ski hire and a lift pass for the season, plus travel insurance and return travel to the Alps, a North Face jacket plus other items of staff uniform. A training week will take place prior to the season to ensure you are fully up to speed with the chalet's and the village's workings.
