From cooking and daily cleaning to stock control and budgeting, you'll be responsible for keeping things running smoothly and efficiently in your chalet. Creating a real “home from home” atmosphere for your guests, you will be providing excellent quality 3 course evening meals, homemade cakes and biscuits for afternoon tea and a hearty breakfast to give your guests their energy boost before they hit the slopes for a full day skiing.

Whether you're in sole charge of one of our chalets, or working as part of a team in a larger property, you’ll need to be friendly, outgoing and enthusiastic with a passion for good food and excellent customer service.

Requirements

Essential

Excellent communicator with strong social and people skills

Ability to work autonomously/unsupervised

Team player

Strong Attention to detail

Positive and friendly manner

Previous catering/hospitality experience (be able to cook for large groups of people)

Desirable

Second language in either French, German or Italian

Previous experience of working in a ski resort

General Health & Safety and Basic Food Hygiene knowledge

Attending a chalet host cookery course
