The Company

Ski Famille is an independently owned specialist in family ski holidays in the French Alps. We are regularly cited by the press as experts in our field and enjoy high levels of return guests and staff.

 The Role

Our chefs and hosts look after our guests in chalets which sleep from 8 to 21 guests. In our larger chalets, you will be working with one or more chalet assistants. It will be your responsibility to manage the kitchen and ensure that all meals are cooked and presented to a consistently high standard.

You will be providing breakfast, afternoon tea and a 3-course meal, plus a separate children’s tea earlier in the evening, as well as cleaning the chalet daily.

The Person

We don’t insist of formal qualifications but many of our chefs and hosts will have been professionally trained.  If you are not qualified, you will be able to demonstrate cooking experience in a commercial environment and a real passion for food. You will need to be organised, well presented and enjoy interacting with the guests as much as cooking. You will be a keen team player as well as having the initiative to work on your own. We want individuals who are happy to go the extra mile.
