Working alone in a small resort or as part of a team in a larger resort, your duties will be varied and challenging with no two days the same. Your role will be to provide the Inghams guests with the highest level of service and standards in line with our company values and to maintain our excellent reputation.
Regular property visits, accompanying guests on transfer to and from the airport, providing informative welcome meetings and providing a "Meet the Piste" ski hosting session are just some of the aspects that your will incorporate into your working day.
Customer service skills are a must as you will accompany guests on excursions, visit them at regular intervals throughout the week keeping them updated on optional extras they wish to book, travel arrangements, and will also be the guests' first point of call if there are any problems. You will need to be proficient in dealing with grievances and complaints efficiently and effectively.
All our Inghams Representatives will be expected to meet and exceed our given targets for sales and guest service, through active and effective promotion and marketing, thus enhancing service and increasing revenue. With over 75 years of experience in the industry all our Representatives will be expected to act in a professional manner at all times, maintain the company's reputation, and be an ambassador of the company, following correct policies and procedures.
In addition to the above abilities you will need to be highly organised, an excellent communicator and have a flexible and adaptable work ethic. You will meet with guests, suppliers, colleagues and hoteliers during your working day alongside meeting company deadlines for administrative work so your time keeping skills will be exceptional. Due to the high volume of sales you will make it is expected that you will be numerate with an ability to keep your accounts in order.
Required Experience:
- Customer service experience essential
- Previous proven experience within the hospitality/tour ops industry essential
- Numeracy skills essential
- Reasonable fluency in local language (French, German, Italian) essential for most positions
- Competent skier
- Accounts and logistics experience desirable
- Full, clean driving licence desirable
