Job description:
We are looking for an experienced sales coordinator to work in our new UK office during the ski season period from October until March. You will be part of a small team reporting to the Sales and Administration Manager and will be responsible for dealing with enquiries and reservations by phone or email, booking administration, sale of resort services such as ski passes, lessons and equipment rental and sales/marketing support.
As part of the role, you will also be dealing with external suppliers of accommodation and travel services and with resort services suppliers (booking ski schools, issuing lift passes, dealing with equipment rental, childcare etc) in order to provide a complete dynamic package to the client.
Experience/skills required:
- Understanding of catered chalet product either as a holidaymaker or from work experience in a similar role
- Strong sales skills – must be confident, persuasive people not afraid of telephone sales but able to sell successfully without being annoyingly pushy!
- Organised and methodical – able to manage and follow up leads systematically and to ensure bookings are completed in a timely manner
- Experienced skiers able to understand what a client needs on a ski holiday and provide advice with accuracy and confidence to clients
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal – perfect spelling and English grammar and good telephone manner
- Commercial awareness – able to see an opportunity and clinch the sale for the benefit of the company
Benefits Package
- £12,000 per annum pro rata
- Commission based on individual performance
- Paid holiday based on 28 days per annum pro-rota including UK bank holidays
- 2 days off per week - shift system during the ski season

All applicants must be in possession of an EU passport or work permit for the UK and an EXISTING permanent UK national insurance number.
